Some general information about our service –
Appointments & Office Hours
- Exams by appointment only, usually on Wednesdays & Thursdays.
- The office is not open daily; walk-ins may miss us.
- Processing time: 1–2 weeks, longer for complex cases.
- Priority / Rush processing is available for urgent deadlines (extra fees apply).
- We provide case managers and interpreters for Spanish, Mandarin, Russian, Ukrainian, and Dari at no additional cost. For other languages, patients must arrange their own interpreter.
- At your appointment (45-60 minutes), we review your documents, health history, and perform a physical exam. Lab tests and vaccines are ordered. Once we receive all results and receipts (~1 week), we complete your packet and notify you for pickup.
- There is no second appointment unless it is a complex case.
Communication
- Please message us via the secure Spruce app (HIPAA-compliant, free).
- We typically respond during weekday office hours.
- We are often with patients and may miss calls. For the fastest response, please use the secure Spruce app for messaging and scheduling.

Fees
- Clinic fee, due at the appointment:
- Regular I-693 Exams (including Asylum, Parole, SIV): $300
- Refugee / K1 Visa Exams: $120
- Clinic fee not covered by insurance unfortunately. Same fee for all ages.
- Cash preferred; card adds $10
- We accept cash, credit cards, HSA/FSA cards
- Lab fees: usually covered with insurance; otherwise we have a $100 discounted rate with the lab.
- Vaccine fees: Covered with insurance typically. If no insurance, can range $50-$250 each. We have referrals for low-cost options also.
- Chest X-ray: Only needed in special situations, such as a positive tuberculosis test. Cost is usually $50–$80 if no insurance.
After Exam
- You’ll be notified when the file is complete.
- You’ll get a digital copy for review.
- Finalized forms can be:
- Pick up usually is Saturday 9AM–12PM
- If mailed (USPS Priority) to you or your lawyer, mailing fee is $20
- Can also be picked up by friend or family (bring ID)
